clever and unusual toy storage solutions

>> Friday, July 29, 2011

Storage solutions for toys can be expensive! Here are some creative storage ideas that I came across while browsing pinterest, that are not only efficient but also inexpensive.

Wall mount hanging garden planters to hold small toys.

Tyres to store toy cars. stack them securely and add a base to make a storage bin.

Toy sand buckets connected by cable wires make great storage for small toys.

Behind the door shoe organizers are a great for sorting/organizing small toys.

Magnetic knife holder strips to hold a little boys car.

Hope you like all these ideas!  If you need an invite to pinterest send me a mail at radhikanavelkar@gmail.com

Thanks for linking to the party. These are some creative storage ideas. I featured this on my FB page today.Hey as I was paging down I noticed something familiar about the over the door shoe organizer, then I realized it was mine. That's so weird that it takes a few minutes for it to register when you see it in a picture.

The boxes and chests on the market today are large enough to store many different types of toys. From stuffed animals, board games, dolls, trains and puzzles, toy boxes make storage easy and fun for kids. These are the only planters I found that might work, but I'm thinking it may be too small: http://www.amazon.com/Wall-Mount-Planter-Coco-Liner/dp/B002YG8FLY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334297340&sr=8-1

Can I ask where you got your planters?? I've been scouring the internet and hardware/garden centers and all of the ones I find seem too large. Thanks!!
