Art for the nursery and kids room that you can make yourself - series 1

I am so happy Trisha's art gallery project  got featured on A Few of my favorite things Friday party. Thank you so much !

Art adds the finishing touch to a nursery or a kids room. Don't want to spend a tone of money and create something custom then, here are some ideas to get you started.

Don't these critters look cute! You can buy the design pdf for $3.50 and make it yourself. All you need to know is how to sew a cross stitch. Just frame your needlework using a hoop and hang it on the wall. The pdf designs are available at an etsy store called Kattuna.

Scrapbook paper, punches and embellishments, modpodge and whole lot of creativity can create one of a kind masterpieces. Create custom art that matches your nursery.

Fabric makes fabulous art. Stretch fabric on a canvas or a hoop or frame it ! Use fabrics with kid motifs or prints in colors to match your room.

Need some more ideas! Check out series 2.  Will post soon!

I am having a giveaway on my blog. $20 store credit from My Carrie Creations to get a backpack for your kids with their favorite cartoon character (Disney/Nick Jr./Fancy Nancy/Dr Seuss and more) on it. check it out.
